Best Paper on Information Systems, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship

Last week, we have got a surprise at the International Conference on Information Systems that the report of our approach to ESG data for Fintech start-ups is awarded as the Runner-Up to the Kauffman Best Paper Award on Information Systems, Innovation and Entrepreneurship.

The CareinFintech project team including, Carsten Østerlund, Qiuyu Jiang, Yvonne Dittrich and myself, are very thankful for our project partners Pascal Franke, and Mathias Kaasgaard, as well as our project supporters Thomas Krogh Jensen, Oliver Sjöstedt and Nicolette Tham from Copenhagen Fintech and Nikolaj Oppermann from IT-Universitetet i København for generously sharing their time, knowledge and experiences along the way. We are also very grateful for all the Fintech startups spending their time with us, telling us about their needs and experiences.

As we are very happy to have received the recognition of our ESG approach, we are even more excited to announce that we will implement our research outputs: the ESG checklist and the ESG compass in 2023 with Copenhagen Fintech and Tekudo. If you are or know a Fintech startup or VC fund, who would like to measure their ESG performance and build their business in a sustainable way from the get go, please feel free to reach out to us!! We are looking forward to building the next generation of business together!
